Friday’s Featured Member – 10 Minutes, 10 Questions

This week we’re interviewing Mandi @ Mandi Minding Money

• How long have you been blogging?

I started taking it seriously in May of 2009. Before then, I was doing more personal diary-type postings on Xanga.

• How many game consoles do you have in your house?

Too many! We have an XBox 360, a DS, a Wii, and a Playstation 3.

• What’s your favorite game console?

Probably Xbox 360

• What’s your favorite type of video game?

I have become a big fan of trivia, like 1 vs. 100, but I’m a huge Halo 3 girl. I suppose you could say my favorites types of first person shooter, trivia, and karaoke/music (like Lips, Rock Band, etc).

• What’s the first video game you recall playing?

Tetris? That was so long ago, but I remember by younger brother played CONSTANTLY! He was a big Zelda fan, and I would watch for hours.

• What’s your favorite video game of all time?

Hands down would be Tetris… I think. That’s a tough question!

• What game do you wish you could be better at?

I wish I could be better at Halo 3. I wish I was like the players who make YouTube videos that have thousands of hits because they are just that good. I would love to be a positive girl influence on the gaming world.

• Who’s your favorite person to play a game with or against?

I love to play with my husband, and an all-girl clan called PMS (http://www.pmsclan.com). Nothing beats a group of friends for some gaming fun!

• Are there any old games that you’d like to see updated and released today?

Duck Hunt!

• If you could pick any one game to review that you’ve never played, what would it be?

Oh wow, can I say Halo: Reach? That comes out later this year, but I’d love to get my hands on it and play before others! Another good one would be Band Hero.
