Tony Hawk’s Team Wins Sonic Generations of Skate Competition
October 22nd marked a historic day in the skateboarding dnd gaming worlds as skaters and gamers came together to celebrate the release of Sonic Generations and Sonic the Hedgehog’s 20th Anniversary with Sonic Generations of Skate. This unique competition brought together some of the best names from three different generations of the sport including Tony Hawk, Andy Macdonald, Steve Caballero and Sandro Dias to compete on the same stage.
Over the course of the day, Sandro Dias landed the elusive 900 trick, putting him in the upper echelons of the sport, held by few skaters. Additionally, in his first professional competition in years, Tony Hawk was able to lead his team of Andy Macdonald and Mitchie Brusco to victory to mark a triumphant return and amazing performance for the thousands of fans who came to watch.
