Slyde the Frog, the Newest Skyworks Game

Slyde the Frog™ is made by Skyworks, creators of such hits as World Cup Table Tennis™,World Cup aTable Tennis HD™, Goaaal! Soccer™, and Arcade Hoops Basketball™. The game is currently a Top Free Game in the Apple Store.

The game itself is pretty simple: you play as Slyde the Frog, and throw Slyde onto one of multiple lily pads throughout the screen. While the initial levels are fairly basic, as you move up in levels the pads begin to move, spikes appear out of the water, and venus fly traps attempt to snap you out of the air. But not all’s bad in the bayou; players also get bonus points for bouncing off walls, hitting targets or for landing on the frog princess. Finally, players can challenge their friends in the Game Center and connect to Facebook to post their high scores.

The game is free to download, and comes with 15 levels free; two additional 15 level game packs are available for download. It’s fun, it’s fast, it’s free, and you get to throw a frog around? What’s not to love!
