dreamfab announces fish flinging physics puzzle platformer for iOS

Regensburg, Germany – October 27, 2011

Today dreamfab and Tactile Entertainment announced Saving Yello, a physics-based fish-flinging fun time coming to the iTunes App Store for iPhone™, iPod™ touch, and iPad™ on November 17, 2011. Whether you prefer your fish raw, fried or swimming free, mobile gamers should get ready to pull the fish’s tail, aim, and fire!

Yello is a hapless goldfish at the mercy of his mischievous 7-year-old owner, Mathilda, who loves to take him out of his beloved fishbowl and play with him. To get Yello back to his bowl, players have a limited number of chances to pull his tail and launch him into the air through dangerous obstacle courses filled with building blocks, dolls, and lots more toys. To get over these hurdles and collect points with every object destroyed along the way, players will have the game’s physics-based destruction mechanics at their disposal. Power-ups include pin cushions that allow Yello to stick to surfaces for more vertical gameplay, as well as fire, ice, and even dynamite that allow him to burn and smash through walls of building blocks and set off huge chain reactions, driving the score multiplier to new heights! Of course the different materials in the game, like wood or metal, prove to be vulnerable to different power-ups, and players can even collect multiple power-ups at the same time to combine them for maximum effect. The quest of getting Yello back to his bowl safely will turn into a brain-teasing highscore chase as players start collecting all the toy combos and setting off the most rewarding chain reactions.

The game will feature 40 hazardous levels over 3 settings—Mathilda’s room, the living room, and the kitchen. Game Center and OpenFeint online leaderboards will also be supported with over 20 achievements to unlock!

Saving Yello will be available in the App Store for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th generation iPhone™, iPod™ touch, and iPad™ on November 17, 2011.
