Namco’s PAC-MAN Over 30 Million and 4th of July Sale
News from NAMCO.
PAC-MAN turned the big 30 this year and Namco recently just so happened to surpass 30 million paid transactions on Brew in the U.S. alone. We’ve launched a slew of PAC-MAN-related titles leading up to his May 22 birthday and have more coming throughout the yearlong celebration. During this year’s E3, we threw him a birthday party showcasing titles including PAC-MAN CE, PAC-Match Party, PAC-MAN Kart Rally, PAC-MAN Party, and PAC-MAN Battle Royale, among others. Full PAC-MAN accessibility is possible as we bring him to every gaming device. In addition to our games, Avi Arad debuted his latest project, a 3D TV pilot on PAC-MAN, where the iconic character is portrayed as the reluctant hero.
Our ‘Win a PAC-MAN-themed Car’ Sweepstakes is available to enter through August 20. Participants can simply visit PAC-MAN’s official site and fill out the electronic entry form for a chance to win. Also available on pacman.com/en is the PAC-MAN Google doodle for the few that missed the first-ever playable doodle while hosted on Google’s homepage last month.
