Marietta, Georgia — In the style of Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, 16-year old computer whiz kid William LeGate takes the Apple App Store by storm. With the launch of a new free App for iPhone through his company ImaginationResearchLabs.com, LeGate’s GameGiveAway enjoyed overnight success. Each day GameGiveAway gives away a high quality paid game for free. GameGiveAway allows users to try out new games for a 24-hour period without obligation and developers to promote their games. At the end of each day, users can opt to purchase the game if they choose.
The first game promoted by GameGiveAway, Paper Ninja soared to number one in the App store creating a whirlwind of enthusiasm for game developers to promote their games through the App.
With over 300,000 game apps available for iPhone users Williams’ latest app invention “GameGiveAway” has quickly climbed to the top. With a 4.5 out of 5 star rating, it has peaked at number two and now sits at number 6, above Facebook and Google apps.
“It’s basically a Groupon for the mobile gaming environment except that it’s free,” said developer William LeGate.
About the developer: A Georgia native, William LeGate is a rare young talent who harnessed his propensity for computers and love of video games into something productive. The high school sophomore’s career started at age 11 when he began setting up network hubs. By age 12 he was blogging and by 13 he was an arbitrageur, buying and repairing iPods and iPhones and selling them for a higher price. At 14, LeGate wrote his first iPhone app, Fake-A-Text that was featured in the New York Times. GameGiveAway was developed through Imagination Research Labs, an iPhone development firm based out of Atlanta, GA founded by LeGate.

I downloaded Game Giveaway last week. I am IMPRESSED with the games they feature for free. I am not sure how they do it, as long as they keep on doing it.
