THOUGHTS FROM THE GAME REVIEW NETWORK
Several of our members had the opportunity to review this game and here’s what they thought.
Jessi @ Jabbering Jessi – “The boys get really into it yelling slide that here, no there, no that piece needs to go here. Sometimes they get too rowdy and I have to get them to take a break but this game has provided us with a lot of family fun time.”
Karen @ 3 Garnets & 2 Sapphires – “Cogs is everything I want in a PC puzzle game. It is both fun and challenging, but not addictive. In fact when I get stumped on how to solve a puzzle, I can turn the game off and come back to it later with fresh eyes. It is the perfect diversion for someone like me who may need to pause the game and walk away because of a number of different reasons.”
Samantha @ As They Grow Up – “I love the challenge behind it the puzzles and Cogs, from Lazy8 Studios is perfect to relax in those early morning hours when everyone else is sleeping…. You are probably thinking that there is nothing new about a game that involves sliding tiles, but Cogs has really added a twist in that it has added moving machine parts. The machine parts and 3-D movements really do add to the game and makes it seem much more fun and challenging.”

This game sounds like a very challenging game, and puzzles do interest me. I like that you can come back to the puzzle later if you get stumped.

What I like most about this puzzle game, is that my son would be able to really get into it, and if I were to be the lucky winner and give it to him, I would become a ‘terrific’ Mom in his eyes!
He is quite a computer geek, and has a very quick and inquisitive mind, loving to solve puzzles; so to find something that is mentally challenging for him is, well, challenging. This game seems to fit the bill in this regard, and since he is always on the computer, all the better!

I like the fact that the game has 50 levels and is challenging to the mind. My mind needs all the exercise it can get. thanks

I enjoy the challenge of trying to figure out the puzzles and they remind me of some of the puzzle challenges in the hidden object games.
